Located near the heart of Nairobi’s CBD, Strathmore University (SU) offers students an unparalleled opportunity to study in Kenya’s capital city. This program offers opportunities for students from many different academic backgrounds and can accommodate students in Arts and Letters, Keough, and Mendoza. As an exchange student, Notre Dame students have the opportunity to study and live directly with their peers at SU. Students will attend classes at Strathmore and live with both local and fellow international students.

Participating in the South Africa program allows Notre Dame students the opportunity to study and live directly with their peers at SU through this exchange program. You will attend classes at Stellenbosch and live with both local and fellow international students in student flats. Coursework introduces you to South African society and history by exploring topics such as transitional justice, social identity and inequality, agriculture, and the role of gender from a South African perspective.
